Yes. Tasks can exist independently or be assigned to a project. Use standalone tasks for ad-hoc work, personal to-dos, or cross-project items.
Any task can have subtasks. Each subtask has its own checkbox, and the parent task shows a completion counter (e.g., 3/6). Subtasks can have their own assignee and due date.
Yes. Every task has a built-in timer widget. Click play to start tracking, pause when you switch context. Time entries are linked to the task and project for reporting and invoicing.
Use sections (like To Do, In Progress, Review, Done) to group tasks. Create custom sections to match your workflow. Drag tasks between sections on the board view, or use the list view with collapsible groups.
Each task has one primary assignee for clear ownership. For collaborative tasks, use subtasks to divide the work across team members, each with their own assignee.
Completed tasks show a strikethrough and move to the Done section. They're still visible in all views (with a filter toggle) so nothing disappears without your knowledge.
